Armed Reserve of Prakasam District consists of 11 Platoons which are used for Prisoners Escort, Jail Guards, VIP Escorts and other Bandobust duties. Armed Reserve will be supervised by one Additional SP Rank officer who will be in direct liaison with SP, Prakaksam.
