C C T V Surveillance


Closed Circuit Television surveillance has started in Ongole town initially with 32 cameras to monitor traffic, law and order and crime situations. The system has been erected with the MPLAD funds and monitored by Command and Control Centre, Ongole.

G P S Tracking

High way patrolling vehicles are now equipped with GPS tracking system which enables control room to locate the exact location of patrolling vehicles at any particular time. Through this, control room staff can identify the nearest patrolling vehicle to respond to the call to rescue or help.

DRONE CAMERA



Being used for surveillance by air in case of large gatherings and VIP security. It is also used to observe hide outs.

INTERCEPTOR VEHICLE

Interceptor is used to control over speed vehicles on highways and other roads to prevent accidents.

E-CHALLAN SYSTEM



E-challana system started in Prakasam District in Dec-2015. The system enables Police to enforce MV Act with out causing much inconvenience to public. The e challana generated will be dispatched to violators by post to pay the same in 15 days. E-challana system also detected more than 15 theft vehicles on the road
