Central Crime Station (CCS) is established at District Head Quarter, Ongole to provide Assistance to Investigating Officers all over the District in Prevention and Detection of Property related Crime.

It is headed by a Deputy Superintendent Rank Officer and is assisted by 3 Inspectors, 10 Sis and 40 Staff. CCS will look after sensational crimes and Property crimes in Detection. It will also extend assistance Invesigating Officers in detection of Thefts/ Robberies/Dacoities etc. CCS collects advance intelligence in connection with Property offences and offenders, Jail Releases and Bad Character activities.

In the year, 2015 CCS has made excellent efforts in recovering lost property of Rs. 1,25,00,000/- all over the district. Additional SP (Crimes)/Admin will supervise the performance of CCS and directly in liaison with SP.
