Central Crime Station (CCS) is established at District Head Quarter, Ongole to provide Assistance to Investigating Officers all over the District in Prevention and Detection of Property related Crime.
It is headed by a Inspector Rank Officer and is assisted by 6 Sub Inspectors and 17 Staff. CCS will look after sensational crimes and Property crimes in Detection. It will also extend assistance Invesigating Officers in detection of Thefts/ Robberies/Dacoities etc. CCS collects advance intelligence in connection with Property offences and offenders, Jail Releases and Bad Character activities.
